Bank Performance Solutions was founded in 2008 to provide financial institutions with a competitive edge.  While managing banks and credit unions, we wondered why so many products and services weren't effective.  We realized many are offered by people lacking real financial institution experience, so we built our own solutions and later began offering them to others.  Now we tailor services to the specific needs of banks, credit unions, and farm credit institutions. 

 

Our team's experience and expertise includes:

• Authored the FDIC's guidance for Market Risk (S Component), Investment Securities & Derivatives, Nondeposit Investment Products, & other subjects.

• Developed the FDIC's interest rate risk analysis model, securities pricing system, & other applications.

• Trained examiners from the FDIC, Fed, OCC, NCUA, & many state agencies.

• Senior executive roles leading turnarounds of troubled financial institutions.

• Strategic planning retreat facilitation and strategy review for many clients.

• Management of large, complex investment portfolios with resolution of regulatory & extreme risk challenges, both in-house & as a service.

• Development of interest rate risk models using many different vendor models (BancWare, Sendero, Profitstar, etc.), both in-house & as a service.

• Profitability, performance management, & core system implementations.

• Development of loan & deposit pricing models ranging from ALCO use to distributed for field use by lenders & business development officers.

• Leadership of a financial institution software firm with over 2,400 clients.
